Flybe collapses
An announcement was made early this morning that Flybe has done into administration.
The airline that has been serving the UK for 40 years has collapsed after a drop in passenger numbers, rising costs and the impact of corona virus.
Serving around eight million passengers annually the airline is a major backbone to regional travel around the United Kingdom.
A message on their website and social media advised passengers not to travel to airports unless they have made their own alternative arrangements with another airline.
Official statement can be found at flybe.com
Anglesey and Southampton will be particularly affected in terms of passenger numbers, whilst some remote locations will be losing frequent commuter services leaving them with little other choice.
