Easyjet ground all aircraft

A number of airlines, including Easyjet have said in recent days and weeks that they may need to ground aircraft as demand drops and further restrictions are implemented around where aircraft can fly to.

This morning Easyjet took this one step further and grounded all of this aircraft, this is after there were many pictures of British Airways planes lined up at Bournemouth airport.

Easyjet said they have grounded all aircraft for two months and that they have completed a series of repatriation flights this past weekend.

They are allowing anyone with flights booked during this period to move them free of charge. Full details can be found on their coronavirus information pages.
