Thomas Cook evacuate Gambia tourists

Thousands of tourists are currently in The Gambia abd Thomas Cook is bringing its customers back.

The president of the country is resisting to leave his role despite increasing pressure for him to step down when his term comes to an end tomorrow.  The military have threatened action against him.

Thomas Cook is sending five aircraft to bring ita customera currently in the country back home in the next 48hrs.  They have also frozen all subsequent flights to the country for the time being.
