Brexit will not affect your EU summer holiday
The travel association ABTA has said that the 11-month transition period, which runs until December, means “arrangements will remain the same”.
The UK is now in a transition period our of the EU until the end of December 2020 and as such there are no changes for this years summer holiday season to those travelling to the EU.
This means passport rules are currently unchanged, EHIC cards are still valid and you can roam in the EU and use your mobile as if you were in the UK.
This will change for next year and advice and updates will be released throughout this year.
