Thomas Cook cancel ALL Sharm el Sheikh holidays

Thomas Cook have made the huge step of cancelling all holidays to Sharm el Sheikh, Egypts popular holiday destination.

They have removed all holidays from sale upto and including the summar 2018 season.  They have started the process of contacting anyone who has a holiday already booked to make alternative arrangements.  They will be offering full refunds or exchanges to other holiday destinations within their portfolio.

Thomas Cook are offering holidays as an alternative in the relatively new destination in Egypt of Marsa Alam.  We’ll be posting a new article on this shortly, but in the meantime if you have booked a holiday to the region it is probably worth exploring the options available.

At present other tour operators continue to offer Sharm el Sheikh in the destination list for when the current foreign office travel ban is due to end.

Having said all of that, one thing that is worth noting is that the other operators, such as Thomson, First Choice, Holiday Pirates etc all have some amazing deals for this year and next to Sharm at the moment so make sure you book with someone who is ATOL protected and check out what is on offer.
