Black Friday Travel Deals

With Black Friday fast approaching on Friday 27th November this year we have taken a look and who has offered any good travel deals in the past and if anyone looks likely to be offering any bargains this year when it comes to travel.

Thomas Cook last year had a Black Friday Travel Deals page, this may well have some offers again this year – last year they were offering all inclusive holidays from £179 per person.

Last year Flight Centre were offering exclusive rates on flights to Dubai on their Black Friday page.

We are expecting some offers from Thomson and ThomsonFly too, this article will be updated when more companies start releasing details of the upcoming offers, but one thing is for sure there will be offers to be had, particularly if you are not fussy about when or where you go but are just looking for a great bargain.

We are expecting some of the travel money companies to be offering some great rates too, so keep an eye on the best rates using Holiday Currency Exchange.

How to get the best price on a Eurostar seat

Press office

The Eurostar is more popular than ever and with more destinations being added it will grow more and more in popularity.

You can get a return Eurostar ticket from London to Paris, Lille or Brussels for just £69.  A return fare to Bruges usually starts at £79.

If you want to travel further afield by train then you can link up with other trains at these destinations to go on to Avignon, Marseille, Rotterdam or Amsterdam for just £99 return.  These can be booked on the Eurostar website at the same time.

Single fares are available and start at around £35.  However you need to book about a month in advance to get these prices.

The Eurostar deals pages are very good and you will be able to see for any given date if there are any £69-£99 fares left.

Check the dates too, as usual if you are looking for a weekend break then there will be more availability for Thursday departures compared with Friday and likewise a Monday return will be cheaper than Sunday.

Remember, if you place on travelling more than once then there are two Eurostar loyalty programmes that are worth looking at.  Eurostar Plus Points – where you receive £20 off your next trip for every £300 you spend and Eurostar Frequent Traveller which offers rewards including access to business lounges, fast-track check in and deals at various hotels.
