2017 – a year of changes

A new year is upon is and there are some significant known changes coming, which one way or another will affect currencies, travel and tourism.

The UK has voted to leave the EU and its likely that even if Brexit doesn’t occur in 2017 that the plans and timeline will be set.

The US has its new President, Trump, taking office on 20th January.

Both of these will have an (unknown) impact on currency markets, the ability to travel and tourism as a whole over the next year or two.

As the year progresses we will be following markets and bring you information as it becomes available.

British travellers have already found the foreign office issuing more frequent and ever changing travel advice and its important that if you have booked or planning to travel you are aware of any advice for the country you are travelling to.
